Mark Ruffalo, Part Deux

DVDs out Today

Just Wright - I never got to see this movie in theaters, but I'm going to put it on my Netflix because I'm a big supporter of Queen Latifah and Common is super-fine.

Letters to Juliet - This movie was pretty cute. It's a little on the predictable side, but in a good way. The only downside was the ending. It just took the whole Romeo/Juliet thing too far and became cheesy.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - All in all, this movie was pretty awful. The acting was horrendous and the time travelling (which can happen in these types of movies if they aren't careful). The redeeming qualities are pretty cool special effects and Jake Gyllenhaal's epic hotness.

Adorably Hot Goodies

Underrated movie of the post:
The Brothers Bloom. This movie is quirky and the plot keeps you guessing until the very end. You're not quite sure who is on what side and there is some amazing acting from Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffalo, and Rachel Weisz. In summary, awesome.

Movies to see:
Just Wright, Letters to Juliet, and The Brothers Bloom.

Trailers of the post: Stupid Dramas

Fair Game. I'm not quite sure what this movie is about, but I know I don't want to see it. Firstly, it's a conspiracy movie and I absolutely hate those. Secondly, Naomi Watts has to take the fall for something her stupid husband did? Lame. Lastly, I don't really like anyone in this movie.

Social Network. Why would I want to watch a movie about a bunch of nerdy guys who slowly become douche bags for money and power? And who the hell cares how Facebook came about? Really? Should I expect a prequel about Tom and Myspace? So dumb.

The Freebie. This one is about a couple who want to (and probably do) sleep with other people simply because they never got the chance before they were married. Boo-freaking-hoo. (On a funny note, Dax Shepard is about to get married. Perfect timing.)

Name 7 (more) Mark Ruffalo:
Rumor Has It, View From the Top, Brothers Bloom, Where the Wild Things Are, Shutter Island, Date Night, The Kids Are All Right.

Kevin Bacon Game (not using In the Cut):
Mark Ruffalo was in Rumor Has It with Jennifer Aniston who was in Picture Perfect with Kevin Bacon: 2 steps.

QQ #199 winner:
Katie with Josie and The Pussycats!

QQ #200(!!): name this Mark Ruffalo movie:
"I thought everything was fine, really. But you know what? We are stuck in these roles together and we can't break out of them, you know? It's like that Asian dude in 'Sixteen Candles', Long Dik Dog."

a. The Brothers Bloom
b. Date Night
c. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
