Movie out Wednesday

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince(!): (Disclaimer: HP6 is my least favorite book and therefore my least favorite movie. Just warning you.) This movie was okay. I liked the humor they added to the story to keep the main story from depressing everyone. I was very impressed by the special effects. For instance, the opening to every "memory" that Harry watched where the liquid turned into wispy smoky stuff. That was cool. There was a bunch of new unnecessary crap they added instead of including more important stuff and the much anticipated kiss between Harry and Ginny was just ridiculous. There was a lot of Hermione whining and Draco looking stoned. And, of course, the best was Ron and his interaction with Lavender Brown (the whore). He's just a fantastic actor (the best of the three) and I love that they made him the comic relief. All in all, it was just okay.

Movie out Friday

(500) Days of Summer - I really wanna see this movie. I love Joseph Gordan-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel so it's going to be a winner no matter what. It is, however, only a limited release so I'll probably have to travel to Scottsdale again.

Underrated movie of the post:

Mr & Mrs Smith. While VV was not a major character of this movie, he was, by far, a huge part in that he was hilarious.

Couples Retreat. This looks great! A huge amount of my favorites doing a crapload of weird stuff. I can't wait!



The Goods: Live Hard. Sell Hard. While this is just another movie where Jeremy Piven is going to be his a-hole self, it still looks funny. And would we love him if he wasn't such a funny a-hole?
