The Voting Game!

DVD's out tomorrow!

Incredible Hulk - Yay Edward Norton!

The Strangers - Scary movie, NI (not interested).

So I've decided to have a little fun with this post. I will ask you a series of questions (accompanied by some lovely pictures) and you get to cast your vote accordingly! Fun, yes?

First Question: A new film in the making will show superhero Captain America's life. Captain America, for those of you who don't know, is supposed to be an All-American man (hence the name) with blonde hair, blue eyes, but a weak composition (it kept him from joining the army to defend the US of A). So the question that everyone is buzzing about is: Who should be cast in the movie as this legendary figure? More aptly, who fits the bill? Here are a few options that either I have come up with or are rumored to have been offered the part:

Next Question: Is it just me or does Robert Pattinson look ridiculous in all of the Twilight Movie posters? You be the judge. Vote for your least favorite "Edward" look!

Next Question: What is your favorite Marvel movie so far?

Lastly, Which movie are you looking forward to the MOST (for the rest of October and all of November)? (Twilight fans (Molly), try thinking outside the box ; ) (E. is Australia, but everything else should be fairly easy to discern.)

Goodies!

Underrated Movie of the Post: Casino Royale (2006). While I still have my qualms about Daniel Craig being the new Bond, I have to admit that this movie is action packed and very well done. I'm pretty excited for the next one even though it has a stupid name (Quantom of Solace).
Movies to see/rent/research: Incredible Hulk, The First Avenger: Captian America, Twilight, Casino Royale, Quantom of Solace.

Actor of the Post: James McAvoy because he's so cool. I remember the first time I saw him (Becoming Jane) and I thought to myself "Self, why would they get this dude to play the romantic lead? He's not very good looking." And then by the end of the movie I was in love. James McAvoy has the magic ability to become better looking the longer you look at him just like a little Robert Pattinson I know. Good ole Cedric, how we miss thee.

Name 7 James McAvoy: Wimbledon, Becoming Jane, Wanted, Atonement, Penelope, Last King of Scotland, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

James McAvoy was in Wimbledon with Paul Bettany who was in the Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks who was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon: 3 steps.

Quote Quiz #14 winner: Katie! It's from b. Sugar & Spice. Molly get's runner-up again, but hey, silver is much shinier than gold : )

Quote Quiz #15: What James McAvoy movie is this from?

"And what about you? You must be some kind of beardless dwarf?"

a. Chronicle of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
b. Wanted
c. Wimbledon
d. Penelope

Post Script: My movies are up to 156! I added Iron Man and Sleeping Beauty, two must haves for this holiday season. Haha.

Post Post Script: I forgot to mention that on my cousin Molly's post there's the last preview for Twilight. I'm sure you all know from my copius ranting that I don't care for the other previews and therefore don't have much hope for the movie as a whole. While I still feel that it will be a over-dramatized disaster, this new trailor is slightly less horrible than the others. Check it out, there's a link down on the right called Molly & Molly or just YouTube it.

Post Post Post Script: I just saw The Secret Life of Bees and I'm happy to report that this isn't the movie I thought it was. In other words, Paul Bettany isn't a rapist! Yay.

I will not be outshone! I choose A. for the quote quiz! moving on...
--i could really care less about captain america & will not be seeing a film starring him; so pass.
--robert pattinson is ridiculously attractive! those pictures just aren't good (c is the only acceptable one). google image him & you'll get many images to melt your knees -- he's definitely on my list
--i've only seen x-men & spiderman and neither wowed me
--i would say i'm excited for James Bond & Zack and Miri
--i'm so happy paul bettany is not a rapist!!

you have a movie obsession -- i have fleeting intense intrests in things like JEM. i find those things comparable and also, noted your fantastic note of choosing a song through your wording!

1. Brad Pitt-from the pictures you chose, he looks the best, although none of the actors look spectacular.
2. They all look ridiculous. You know how I feel about twilight...
3. IRONMAN!!! Followed by X-Men
4. Quantum of Solace, then Australia

oh, and I think that quote is from The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

This is Katrina, by the way.
