Kevin Bacon!!!

I know I've been lazy, so I'll make it back up to you all with the ultimate in movies stars, Senor Kevin Bacon.

Movies out Friday

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night - A man takes it upon himself to fight off a ton of supernatural beasts. (This movie appeals to me in 2 ways. 1) That Brandon Routh guy is hunky and, from what I've seen in the trailer, shirtless. 2) That other nerdy guy is hilarious and kind of cute in a nerdy way. Now I don't know what you learned in Elementary School, but 1+2=awesome movie.)

Fast Five - The guys drive some more cars and steal money from bad guys or something. (The real reason I'm going to see this movie? The Rock vs Vin Diesel!!! You know you wanna see it. Don't deny it!)

Hoodwinked Too! - Red, Wolf, Grandma and that creepy little squirrel fight more fairytale bad guys. (I didn't think the first one was that great so I'm unsure why they decided to make a second. I guess Hollywood really is running out of ideas...)

Prom - A film following the lives of high school students as they search for the perfect date to the perfect dance. (Ugh, I already lived through high school and I do not want to do it again unless there's singing and dancing. The only good thing I have to say about this movie is the actors actually look like they could still be in high school instead of a bunch of 20-somethings.)

DVDs out Today

The Dilemma - A man struggles to decide whether he should tell his best friend about his adulterous wife or not. (I didn't get to see it in theaters, but I'm pretty sure any movie with Vince Vaughn and Kevin James is a success. I'm gonna rent it for sure.)

From Prada to Nada - Two sisters are forced from their rich lives and have to live with their less-than-rich aunt. (As ridiculous as this movie sounds and looks, I really wanted to see it. And I will be renting it as well. Judge me! I don't care!)

The Green Hornet - A man sets aside his selfish ways and, along with his asian cohort, try to take down crime. (Now this movie was utterly ridiculous, but it was also a decent watch. I love Seth Rogan and even though it got a little "meh" in the end, it was still a good movie.)

Waiting for Forever - A boy secretly follows the love of his life around the country and finally steps forward and tells her. (Now this movie walked the line between creepy and adorable throughout the entire movie, but in the end it was adorable and an all-around good movie. I highly suggest it.)

The Baconator Goodies

Underrated movies of the post:
Stir of Echoes. A man is hypnotized as a joke, but begins seeing a young woman's ghost and must solve the mystery the surrounds her. (This movie was super creepy and I had to cover my eyes through most of it, but it was still really good and I highly recommend it. Just don't watch it at night.)
Tremors. A group of people out in the desert are plagued by giant carnivorous worms. (I'm sorry, but I still love this movie. The sequels are crap, but the original is a classic! Judge me! I don't care!)

Movies to see:
Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, Fast Five, The Dilemma, From Prada to Nada, The Green Hornet, Waiting for Forever, Stir of Echoes, Tremors

Trailers of the post

Crazy, Stupid, Love. One man deals with dating after a divorce and the other deals with being a man-whore who's falling in love. (I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this movie from the cast, to the story, to the hilarity/drama. AND KEVIN BACON!!! This is going to be GREAT. I'm very excited. I just thought I'd add that in case you couldn't tell from the capitals...)

Transformers 3. More bad transformers come and the good guys have to fend them off. (Who cares about plots? Not Michael Bay! But that's okay as long as there's hot chicks and robots. What more do you need?)

I don't know, but it sounds like a chick flick and so I'll go with b) because I don't remember Kevin Bacon even being in Mystic Pizza, let alone what he said.
